C'est le 3 juin prochain que les joueurs pourront enfin mettre leurs mains sur Red Faction : Armageddon, un soft attendu à la fois sur les consoles HD et PC. Mais en attendant cette date, une démo du jeu sera mise en ligne sur Xbox 360 et PlayStation 3, à condition que le PlayStation Network ne soit plus en maintenance bien évidemment. Quant aux possesseurs de PC, rien n'a été annoncé pour le moment.
THQ's announced that a playable demo of Red Faction: Armageddon will be released on Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN (if it's up) on May 3.
The shooter casts you in the boots of lead protagonist Darius Mason with the mission of battling to save the human race on the planet Mars from a "greater evil".
There'll be more physics-based weaponry, powered by Volition's Geo-Mod 2.0 tech and plenty of earth moving, shooting action both above and below the surface.
In the trial players will be able to battle aliens with the Nano Forge and Red Faction's signature weapon, the Magnet Gun, the publisher says.
The full game's out on 360, PS3 and PC on May 31 in the US and June 3 in UK.
There's no word on a PC demo yet.
